Homelink Support Workers
Salary: £9.76p/h (includes 38 days annual leave pro rata and sick leave entitlement)
We are looking to recruit support workers for Homelink, our outreach service. Homelink has been providing support for adults with learning disabilities for over 20 years. You will work one to one with adults who have learning disabilities in their own homes and in the community.
We are looking for committed and skilled workers. You will receive a full induction and ongoing support through team meetings appraisals and supervision. There is no closing date for this post.

Administration volunteers (Unpaid)
We are looking for volunteers with administrative experience to join our busy and friendly reception office.
You will play a key part ensuring that the reception office runs smoothly during a crucial phase of development. This involves being the first point of contact for visitors and service users, dealing with incoming calls, taking messages, managing our central e-mail and assisting with mail outs.
You will need to be a reliable, trustworthy, patient and understanding person with a pleasant telephone manner, be able to use your own initiative, be computer literate and sometimes work unsupervised.
In return, we will offer you stimulating and sometimes challenging work and the opportunity to help us achieve our aims.
We are looking for up to 3 trustees to support the sustainable development of a busy and friendly local charity working with adults with learning difficulties.
We are particularly interested to hear from individuals with experience in any of the following areas:PR; Communications; Event Planning; Marketing; Human Resources; Law;
Business support/management/development; Family Carers
You will be able to be a ‘critical friend’, committed to our aims as an organisation and interested in making society more fair and inclusive. You will have skills and enthusiasm to help us implement an ambitious change programme this year. We want to make the organisation stronger, more resilient and better connected with other like-minded organisations and individuals.
The Board also runs 3 sub-committees working on Finance; Legal and Policy; Governance and Planning. Sub-committee meetings take place in early evenings between Board meetings. Trustees are encouraged to join at least one sub-committee. Board meetings take place between 6.30pm and 9pm every 6 weeks usually on Wednesday evenings at our office in Islington Park Street.
In return, we will offer you training, stimulating and sometimes challenging work and the opportunity to help us achieve our aims. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
